Oddly though, getting lucky at Harry Reid International isn’t out of the ordinary. PEOPLE reported in June thata traveler passing through the airport won the $1.3 million jackpotwhile playing the “Wheel of FortuneTriple Double Emeralds” machine in the Terminal 1 Esplanade.

X user Derek Nicoletto broke the news in a postthat read: “Someone just won the 1.3 million jackpot on the slot machine at the airport!” He also included a video that captured the exciting moment. The name of the tourist was never publicly released.

“That’s one way to end a vacation — as a MILLIONAIRE!”the airport posted to Facebookafter confirming the person had, in fact, won the jackpot.

But this doesn’t even compare to the major Powerball winnings from this past summer.

On July 19, one lucky personwon the Powerball, when the jackpot was at more than $1.08 billion. It was the seventh-largest U.S. lottery jackpot on record, and the third largest Powerball jackpot, specifically.
