Elsewhere in the interview, the “No Caller ID” musician revealed that she is in the process of working on a third album.

“We wrote the crap out of these songs,” Moroney told the outlet. “We exerted all of our options on every verse, every word.”

One of the songs she’s written, “You for Me,” she wants to be a duet. Ideally, the other singer on the track would be Bieber.

“Maybe he would feel that way aboutHailey. I know he does,” Moroney said of the song’s lyrics.

The “I’m Not Pretty” artist releasedher second recordAm I Okay?in July 2024, just a year after her debutLucky.

The self-proclaimed “emo cowgirl” was prepared for comparisons between the two projects.

“It sounds likeLucky’s cooler older cousin that can drink,” shetold PEOPLE in July 2024, “and I think that just sonically, it feels more advanced. I wrote it with the intention of playing bigger venues."

She added: “I’m touring nonstop, and the songs just feel more grown up. I think the emotions are more intense on this album thanLucky.”

Moroney also explained that despite being “pretty emotional” many of the songs onAm I Okay?were “empowering and confident.”

“I think that those two different sides of the spectrum are very real,” she said. “Some days I wake up and I feel so confident, and then other days I wake up and I try not to text him, you know what I mean?”
