On BBC Radio this morning , EU Justice Commissioner Viviane Reding say that the EU had enquire Google’snew Privacy Policy — which gives Google access to the activity of all its users across all its services — and found that it was in violation of privacy laws .

grant to Reuters , Reding offer the follow examples when pressed about how Google was breaking EU laws .
“ In numerous respects . One is that nobody had been consulted , it is not in accordance with the jurisprudence on transparency and it utilizes the data of private person in fiat to reach it over to third party , which is not what the user have hold to . ”
Now it will be peculiar to see if Google universally backtracks on the new insurance , only changes it for EU users , or if they try and fight whatever mandates may be handed down to them in the courts . [ Reuters ]
