Our Twitter account was hack a few hour ago . We have the office under control , do n’t worry . But Gizmodo really hate to delete tweets . Really . It ’s an actual insurance : do not do it . Not for erratum , not for nothin’ .
In this case , though , the tweet were grossly sickening and hugely misrepresentative . We blue-pencil .
I ’ll admit : On my personal invoice , I ’ve deleted a tweet or two , or a few , in my day . Only ever for a stupid erratum or a broken link , though . But I have a friend who curateshis Twitter accountlike a zen garden . prune in like a rose shrub . It ’s lean , it ’s highly selective . He cancel more than he tweets . I guess he just uses the program other than .
