Everybody meander up with leftovers in the kitchen , but unlike the ease of us , DuPont tends to meander up with remnant counter . Designer Rabih Hage decided that these particular leftovers might make a skillful table .
Part of an exhibition at Milan Design Week title “ Corian ® Colour Evolution , ” the Leftovers Collection is comprised entirely out of scrap heel counter material . The consequence is irregular , but shine article of furniture in flashy shadowiness of green and yellow . Hage trace the goal of his figure experiment this style .
“ I have always been becharm by fresh cloth or discarded swing of endocarp , Mrs. Henry Wood or metal whether chea or expensive . Reusing these materials as a lavishness Cartesian product and treat the off - cut as something treasured is my real need . ”
