It reverse out that the only sci fi flick we really need to be looking forrad to is Toei ’s CG movie remake of the classic Zanzibar copal Space Pirate Captain Harlock , which just had its first English lyric trailer released . surely , Harlock does n’t have the budget of those big American moving-picture show — although it is Toei ’s most expensive task ever , costing over $ 30 million U.S. — but do Star Trek or Star Wars have spaceship with elephantine skulls on the front of them ? No they do not . Advantage : Harlock .
Space Pirate Captain Harlock hits Japan in the fall ; its American release is unknown , but I insure it ’s not nearly soon enough .
