As of August 3 , there were more than a thousand wildfires burning across all of Canada , according to data from theCanadian Interagency Forest Fire Centre . More than 660 of those fire are currently out of restraint . Last calendar month , there were alittle under 900 wildfiresthroughout the country . Government data depict that this year ’s wildfire time of year has cauterise an area of about 13 million hectares ( 32,123,700 landed estate ) .
