When I was make on MythBusters , our schedule was intense . Most television shows film over a period of a few month , and then they have an off - season . When MythBusters was n’t take up 80 percent of my prison term , I would dive into the project when the mood strike me , but never for long enough to build the momentum I need to terminate .
Then , starting in 2013 , our workload on MythBusters got bring down in half .
