Well , it is until they in reality put down on Ganymede , and everything goes sidewise in a spectacularly atrocious manner . If you ’re video secret plan fan , think Dead Space , but with less weird foreign zombi spirit and more messed up trace .

Nameless is scifi repulsion like no other because of its outlandishly large scale — it catch a sense of inevitable apprehensiveness on such a wide scope , unlike your typical repugnance report that relies on small scale threats expand to great extremes . Equal constituent following the downfall of civilisation as apocalyptic threat make themselves roll in the hay and the terrifying journey of a team of astronauts send to investigate the asteroid , Nameless is flat - out one of the honest funnies of 2015 , let alone just the horror genre .

If your only experience with Sabrina was the ninety TV show , then prepare to have your air sock spook off .

You might be more intimate with Becky Cloonan from her work on Gotham Academy for DC , but if you ’re already a buff of her work there , you should totally be check out Southern Cross .
Part scifi , part horror , part murder - enigma , Southern Cross takes place on the moons of Titan as a young woman tries to chance answer about the death of her sister — only to find there were elements far unknown and more ugly than she could have guess involved . Highly claustrophobic at times and almost Alien - esque , there ’s some pretty shocking moments in the series that make for fascinate recitation .

Focusing on the coming - of - age of a young fille in small , southern town , Harrow County mash its repugnance root with fairytales , picture a dark , daunting forest on the outskirts of Emmy ’s town that ’s filled with horrify monsters and deadly mystery . Intensely disturbing , Tyler Crook ’s artistic production makes the woods the double-dyed amount of messed up and creepy that you need this time of year .

1) Wytches
Wytches is basically a Stephen King nightmare in comical book shape . A young family locomote to a quiet New Hampshire town , only to find themselves under constant scourge from the titular grievous creatures ( which are genuinely petrifying ) mill about in and around the local forest . It ’s as much a dark family line drama and about the challenges of parentage as it is a horror narrative — and while it ’s all spellbind in that regard , where Wytches beam the most is its art . Jock conjures up some truly pictorial panel art , and the splattering from colorist Matt Hollingsworth make for some striking pages . If you inhabit anywhere near a big old forest , you might desire to read this one with a few lights on , and never at night .
